To hold fans down in the meantime, Mac shared the tracklist online just a few days ago. Mac reported on Instagram that Swimming will be released on August 3rd, 2018. To see this side of Mac in his more vulnerable state is captivating, and we cannot wait to see what this new phase of his music holds!

I showed my friend and he was happy with the spelling too.

After some messing around on my iPad while we chatted I was happy I’d corrected it. in Memento Mori they take excerpts from Alan Watts, a philosopher I had no clue existed until Architects, and spread it throughout this emotional rollercoaster of a song to better. He raps his verses while smoking a cigarette, and carves Memento mori. Originally my design said momento so he corrected me on the day and said it’s MEmento. it’s a similar vibe to Self Care, but this is a heavy band so they were able to take the concepts of oblivion and explore with a much, much darker light. Self Care is a song recorded by American rapper Mac Miller for his fifth. Think of this single as a bold statement that he has returned! “Self Care” is an ode to his past self and promises to maintain a healthy state of being. A friend of mine got me to do a memento mori tattoo on him a few years ago. This symbolizes that he refuses to die any time soon. RIP Mac Miller (Janu September 7, 2018) Memento Mori - Remember that you have to die. However, Mac proves the skeptics wrong as he punches through his handwritten words and escapes the buried box. He then pulls out a pocket knife and begins to carve “memento mori” into the box, which translates from Latin to English as “remember that you have to die.” This moment is very metaphoric as it refers to Mac’s public image and personal struggles plummeting. His unconventional lifestyle and outspoken problems with depression, drugs, drinking, and suicide give the public enough reason to believe that he won’t make it. Despite having no source to oxygen, Mac is unbothered by the claustrophobic space and feels confident that he will escape despite how difficult it may be. As he looks around with a flashlight in hand, he calmly lights a cigarette and begins smoking. Memento Mori Mac Miller (MMMM) Mac Miller’s death wasn’t an Overdose, it was a Suicide, it was the path that he chose that’s the way it goes, when you’re chewed inside. In the music video for “Self Care” Mac is shown trapped inside a pine box, buried alive.
